Keep me up-to-date with St. Joseph Hospital Midwifery news:
Pregnancy and Childbirth
St. Joseph Hospital Midwifery integrates the latest technology with a natural approach to childbirth and delivery. We take the time to listen to you, welcome your questions and encourage you, with family and friends, to have the safe and healthy pregnancy and experience you desire.
During pregnancy, we monitor the health of both mother and baby as we help you plan for the birth experience. We also can treat any common health problems and handle referrals for further prenatal testing if needed. We respect your choices for childbirth, including natural births, alternative therapies or epidural anesthesia, and, of course, a physician is available during labor and delivery.
St. Joseph Hospital midwives attend births 24 hours a day, seven days a week at St. Joseph Hospital. We collaborate with the physicians of St. Joseph Hospital OB/GYN for patients requiring physician consultations or services.
